Why Penguins?
Good question. If you ask Ron he will just say "Are you kidding?? Because they are AMAZING!" But the truth is that penguins are sweet, affectionate, and describes Hannah and I's relationship...... well except the for the fact that the male sits on the egg and the female goes hunting, but anyway...

All my life I have been searching for love... What kind of statement is that? We are all searching for love! What I mean to say is that from an early age I had been looking for that other half that would make my heart whole. Some people honestly don't feel they need someone to love. Others so not figure out the importance of love until they are a tad later in life. I, however, knew from the time I was only 11 that I would fall in love and that simple act would define my life. I remember being told at that early age that I would find "that wonderful daughter of Eve" and would live happily. I had no doubt in my mind from an early age that this was my ultimate goal.
As time went by I searched for this elusive thing called "Love". I went through your average ups and downs of adolescent life and constantly thought that the next one would be the last and be the love I was looking for, but it never did. I constantly felt alone and unwanted and went through several bouts of depression. Then, out of the blue, everything changed.
Hannah and I met in our LDS single's ward. (For those of you who are not Mormon, that is our church ;) We had a strange relationship at first considering that the first time we met she wanted to take my picture and came to my house to do so. She was doing it for her calling at church, but it was still a little strange. To be completely honest, I didn't think much about her at first. In fact, the next time we met she came up to me and asked how I was doing and I retorted with a very elegant... "Who are you?"
It wasn't long after that that I started to see her in a different light. When i spent more time with her I saw an absolutely beautiful daughter of God and saw her spirit as if it were right before me. I honestly could not take my eyes from it. The beauty I saw defied what I had seen before, and although my past experiences screamed at me to take it slow and see what happens first, I knew I needed to grab her before someone else did.
And so I did :)
Now we are here, years later, looking back at how easy it was to find each other, yet how incredibly hard it was to last to that point. i am one very very lucky man and am lucky to have such a glorious wife and amazing Family.

That is the way it went. We dated for 29 days and got engaged. And were married 3 months after that. I though that Ron was definitely good looking when I first met him, and he told our story right! (Must have been all the times I told the story to people....hehehe) We do have a great relationship: lots of talking and laughing and teasing and just being.
We are expecting our first egg in June 2013, and we are really excited.
